The Gate to the madness...

Untold legend says that the gem on the gate is the source to all the madness affected on this land. Reality twists with each step you take past this gate. And as always magic affects mushroom the most.

The image was inspired by the landscape of Alice in wonderland and random mushroom forest images I saw on the web. Very little post production is done to the final render.

Transition to Wonderland...

I did take inspiration by the Alice in Wonderland 1951cartoon version that I loved to watch when I was a child. Especially the "Rabbit Hole" chapter which is a transition from real world to wonderland.

Evidence of Alice existence...

Alice and the others are long gone. The only evidence of their existence is glancing trough an old antique shop’s window. It’s some of their belongings waiting for their turn to be erased by the unforgiving hand of time. Just like the items inside, the store is abandoned, trashed, dreary and somehow ghostly.

Could it be the magic is still alive after all this time?  Do those sparks inside mean farewell for the last time or is everything only just beginning?

Alice followed the Cheshire's advice to take the shortcut to find the Queen...

As Cheshire says: If you don’t know where you’re going, there is no one way to get there.

As I also struggle sometimes with difficult decisions to make, I decided to create this image to remind myself and others, with same or similar worries, that when you are trying hard you will always find a way to make it. Moon represents the Cheshire, who is metaphorically guiding Alice to find new world (In the cartoon, Cheshire first reveals himself as moon then as cat). Mushrooms symbolize those pieces we collect every day to get where we want to be.

And Alice is, of course, symbol of all of us in searching for journey. With experience we've learned that as we are growing up when you’re not sure which direction to take, the answer is to pick a direction.

And remember: Some go one way, some go another, but the Cheshire Cat prefers the shortcut.

Are we all made here or just the Alice?

Woman in the psychiatrist's office trying to the help she needs, where the background behind the shattered mirror represents her state of mind.

Characters from the book/movie presented in little more realistic manner, maybe some people form Alice's past, something she read or maybe... they are actually there... just watching... waiting...

---

Characters are done and mainly posed in the DAZ studio (except the hatter and the shrink), imported in 3dsMax then clothing done cloth modifier, very basic, nothing fancy, hair and fur, etc.

Hatter it was free online and with little tweaking made it to my likings. Shrink is some old 3d model of scanned woman i have and then just made some modifications including the hair to fit the scene.

Alice seems to be such a small…

I decided to make my work in the form of a frame from a film. In my opinion, the atmosphere of a fairy tale and unforgettable adventures is especially emphasized here. Alice seems to be such a small and defenseless girl against the backdrop of giant mushrooms and plants, and an unknown world lurks behind the gate. She is thoughtfully on the verge of new adventures and does not know what awaits her next, how she will cope with all the dangers that lie ahead of her. Signs on the gates in the form of clubs of the suit indicate that here the enemy's possession begins. Flowers are quietly watching her, whether she decides to take this step or not ...

The Unbirthday Party…

This image was inspired by the scene of "the unbirthday party" from the movie Alice in Wonderland (1951) from Disney.

The main idea was the development of the “after” of this tea party, after Alice, March Hare and Mad Hatter made a pretty mess with the teacups and teapots.

For inspiration I used the scene when Alice leaves the party, and then she looked at March Hare and Mad Hatter still partying, with this we can see all of the environment, the table with the chairs, the trees, the lamps, the hedge, everything.

The Parallel Land...

Have you ever imagined what is there on the other side of the magical forest that Alice enters from the small door?!

Let's see, shall we!

Alice once again enters the small door by drinking potion from the bottle and emerges into a magical land accompanied by the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter's Hat.  Alice pinches herself and learns that this too is not a dream. What she saw in front of her was a mystical forest resting on beautiful, shining, colorful and enormous tortoises. She realizes that her destiny to end the tyranny of the Red Queen on the animals and other subjects was in fact happening on these tortoises. What an irony she thought! This is her new beginning to the end...on the parallel "Neverland". The White Rabbit enamored by the scene whispers in her ears "We are all mad here"...and they begin to set on their never before mission...once again!!!

Alice getting all the sneakers she wanted…

"Roses are red, my worn sneaker pair is blue, I lost on SNKRS app and hope you do too..."

The rabbit says to Alice, "Down goes to the (sneaker) rabbit hole. but don't look too close, you may never come back..."

From losing on Snkrs App draw to bots, to losing to backdoored store raffles, paying resale due to super limited supply chain - getting new sneakers is depressing and morbid these days.

The visual tells the story about Alice getting all the sneakers she wanted, for free and without any limits from the forest of wonderland. ... but back to snkrs app for the rest of us or buying from resellers.
